Required: April 2024 - Feb/April 2025 (10-12month contract)

Role: Contract (3-5 days per week)

Social Lead

The Role

10–12-month parental leave contract for our Social Lead. 

This is a managerial & strategic marketing role. You will lead and manage the Social Media team (currently 4), as we continue to grow in 2024/2025 and report directly to the Director.

You will lead and manage new client Strategy Sessions and develop Hospitality Marketing Strategies. You will oversee our social media accounts and assist with recommendations to drive growth and engagement to reach client KPIs. 

You will lead & manage Distil’s marketing plan and execution and contribute to developing new client and business opportunities in collaboration with the Director.

As we work in the hospitality space, an interest in food and drink is a must!

Key role responsibilities include:

  • Manage the social media team (currently a team of 4)
  • Strategy Development and execution
  • Account overview/ management & reporting
  • Social Media client onboarding
  • Social Media Proposals & costings
  • Ensure that Distil’s marketing plan is executed and on track to achieve business objectives
  • Assist Director with business development
  • Stay ahead of the curve with the latest trends and technologies in digital/ social media marketing and hospitality industry

Key personal requirements include the following:

  • An ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for both our clients and Distil
  • Proven success in leading, developing and implementing marketing strategies - ideally in the food, beverage and/or hospitality space
  • At least 5+ years in a Senior Marketing role
  • At least 5+ years in a Managerial/Leadership role
  • Technical skills in Meta Business Suite, Instagram and Meta Ads Manager
  • Experience in LinkedIn Ads Manager, TikTok Business Manager and Google Ads are desirable but not required
  • Awareness of marketing guidelines in the hospitality industry
  • Exceptional client relationship, stakeholder management & leadership skills
  • Exceptional project management capabilities
